Scripture
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, true in all it teaches and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. Scripture equips God’s people to know him, trust the gospel, and practice faithful obedience.

The Sovereign God
We believe there is one living and eternal God. He exists in perfect unity as three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created all things, rules over all things, and alone deserves our worship.

Jesus Christ, the Son
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He took on human nature, was born of a virgin, and lived without sin. Jesus is fully God and fully man—the promised Savior who reveals the Father and came to redeem sinners.

Humanity and Sin
We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses real dignity and worth. Humanity rebelled against God through sin, bringing physical death and spiritual separation from him. Every person now shares a fallen nature and stands in need of God’s rescue.

Christ’s Sacrifice and Salvation
We believe Jesus willingly suffered and died in the place of sinners. He physically rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. Forgiveness and eternal life are received through faith in Christ and his finished work, not through religious effort or human merit.

The Essentiality of the Church
We believe the local church is “the pillar and ground of the truth”—the community Christ established to guard and proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and help believers grow in faithful obedience. Every believer is responsible to commit to a faithful local church and submit to its biblical teaching, care, accountability, and leadership. Following Jesus is not designed to be a private or independent life.
This Bible study and The Bible Collective do not substitute for the local church. As a ministry of Canyon Ridge Baptist Church, this work is part of the church accomplishing its mission: opening the Bible on college campuses, sharing the gospel, helping students follow Jesus, and directing believers toward meaningful life and service in a local church.

Christ’s Return and Eternity
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally for his church, judge evil with perfect justice, and establish his righteous kingdom. Those who belong to Christ will live forever with the Lord in fullness of joy. Those who reject him remain separated from God under final judgment.
